BBQ Overview

The Vancouver Python Workshop BBQ is a great opportunity to socialize with your fellow Python programmers. It's also a great opportunity to eat great food on one of Vancouver's most popular beaches! This is event is open to everyone so bring along your friends and family. You can reserve places at the BBQ during conference registration. The BBQ has sold out and no new reservations will be sold.

Details

Location: Locarno Beach
There are three parking lots located on Discovery St. to the north of Belmont Ave. The BBQ is located approximately 50 meters west of the north-most one.
Time: Saturday, August 5th, 18:30-21:00
Price: CDN$20.00 for adults, CDN$10.00 for children
Transportation: Bus transportation from the conference to the BBQ is provided as part of the BBQ fee. The bus leaves from the Holiday Inn after the conference adjourns and returns from the BBQ at 21:00

  • Grilled Pacific Wild Salmon
  • Burgers (100% beef and vegetarian)
  • Salad
  • Snacks (chips, vegetables and dip, etc.)
  • Soft drinks and bottled water
  • Dessert
