Air Travel

If you live outside of the Pacific Northwest, then flying is probably your best travel option. The Vancouver International Airport is the only major airport that serves the Vancouver area.

Getting Downtown

When you arrive at the Vancouver International Airport, there are several ways to get downtown. Taxis are readily available and the trip downtown costs approximately CAD$25. A less expensive option is the YVR Airporter, a shuttle bus that stops at most of the large downtown Vancouver hotels and costs CAD$18 round-trip.

Getting to Metrotown (Burnaby)

From the Vancouver International Airport, the only direct way to to Burnaby is by taxi. The taxi ride takes approximately 30 minutes and costs CAD$27.00.
